IFT Annual Show Successful
CHICAGOAccording to theInstitute of Food Technologists (IFT), a total of 19,536 people attended its64th IFT Annual Meeting + Food Expo in Las Vegas in July, making it the fourthlargest show in the past decade.
There were 926 exhibiting companies and a record-breaking1,900 technical presentations. Continuing its support of local food banks, IFTexhibitors donated more than 6,500 pounds of food to the Second Harvest FoodBank at the shows conclusion, bringing the IFT Food Expos seven-yeardonation total to 100,000 pounds.
