Ikemoto R&D Manager forSoft Gel Technologies

LOS ANGELES--Lee Ikemoto recently joined Soft Gel Technologies as manager of R&D, quality control (QC) and qualityassurance(QA). Ikemoto joined Soft Gel Technologies (www.soft-gel.com) with more than 25 years of experience in the nutritional supplements industry. He will be responsible for overseeing QC and QA labs to ensure material quality and consistency, as well as substantiating formulas and working to improve processing methods.

In related news, Soft Gel Technologies hired Tomo Kirimoto as assistant plant manager. Kirimoto joined Soft Gel Technologies from its Japan-based parent company, Kenko Corp. Kirimoto's new position leaves him responsible for quality control in the plant as well as overseeing the continuous engineering improvement of the factory and machinery. His duties also include all aspects of plant management, including the mechanical facilities and improving the efficiency of the plant.
