Illinois Grant Program Announced at NOW Foods Facility

BLOOMINGDALE, Ill.—A $900,000 Illinois state training grant designed to provide training and consulting services to upgrade workers’ skills in the manufacturing industry was announced at the NOW Foods manufacturing facility here. NOW Foods’ president, Al Powers, noted such training funds have helped 111 workers at NOW Foods (www.nowfoods.com) upgrade their skills, through 24 different types of training programs. “The training grants have made a positive difference in the growth and success of our company,” Powers said.
