The new location offersredesigned work areas established to increase efficiency and work flow for thefive individual labs and updated laboratory facilities. Industrial Laboratories also completed validation for thequantification of several rapid microbiology analyses. It now has rapidmicrobiology services available for Total Plate Count, Yeast/Mold, CombinedAnalyses of Total Coliforms and E. coli. The rapid methods make it possible toreport results in 24 to 72 hours. The new system uses proprietary media and apatented plating device to minimize the number of dilutions necessary to obtainaccurate counts.
