InnerDoorway Reorganizes
NEW YORKInnerDoorway Inc., apublisher of health care and consumer products related to integrated medicine,restructured its operations to integrate its publishing, educational andconference production operations into specific platforms. The move followsInnerDoorways acquisition of the consumer magazine AlternativeMedicine in the fall of 2004.
According to Rick Prill, president of InnerDoorway(www.innerdoorway.com), utilizing and coordinating content across theprofessional and consumer divisions will be an integral part of the efforts. With our acquisition of AlternativeMedicine, we now have the leading professional andconsumer publications on the topic, he said. Starting with the contentitself and working through advertising sales and operations, we are looking toensure that our publications provide the best information and service to all ourvarious clients.
To assist with the integration of corporate resources, KarolynGazella was promoted to executive vice president; natural products publishingveteran Frank Lampe was named as the new vice president of content development.The new structure of the company will encompass divisions including AlternativeMedicine magazine, Alternative Medicine CustomPublishing, Alternative Medicine Retail Media and InnoVision Medical Media.
