Kerry Group Partners with Brazilian Organic Farm

TETERBORO, N.J.Kerry Group, a supplier of certified organic fragrances, flavors and ingredients, has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Sao Paulo, Brazil-based Dierbergers Oleos Essencias SA, a producer and cultivator of certified organic oils. The new partnership will expand Kerrys portfolio of certified organic ingredients; the first project includes the planting of 10,000 lemon treesand another 5,000 at a later dateon Dierbergers 15,000 acres in three regions of Brazil. Additional organic ingredients to be produced include mandarin, bitter orange, cypress, citronella and three varieties of eucalyptusGlobulus, Satiageriana and Citriodora.

The partnership is a reflection of Kerrys commitment to the natural and organic market, and its dedication to environmental and social responsibility in the fragrance and flavor market as demonstrated by its recent collaboration with TransFairUSA, according to the company.
