TORONTOKGK Synergize Inc. (KGK) will be supporting the United Way for a second year in a row by participating in the Enbridge CN Stair climb on Sunday, Oct. 24. This year, however, KGK will be climbing the CN Tower instead of its  home building of One London Place.

The CN Tower, designated a Wonder of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers, is 1,815 ft., 5 inches tall, and the tallest building, tower, and freestanding structure until 2010. The CN Tower still retains its title as the tallest tower in the world. There are 142 flights of stairs to the top of the CN Tower with more than 2,000 stairs.

By supporting the United Way, KGK lends aids more than 200 community agencies that provide vital social services to hundreds of neighborhoods and thousands of people in the area including abused women, single parents, the homeless and many new immigrants striving for a better life in Canada.

This event is one of many fund raising activities that companies can participate in to help the United Way reach their annual fund raising goal. Visit the team KGK webpage and click any team members name to sponsor KGK in this event.

KGK conducts human clinical trials in support of health nutrition, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.  In addition to its contract research capabilities, KGKs Product Development Division brings new and innovative natural health products to the point where they are ready to manufacture and market.  These products include Sytrinol®, Diabetinol and Dermytol.

Every day, Canadas 117 United Ways Centraides (UW-Cs) work locally to change living conditions for the better. The issues they face may vary, but the values and purpose that drive them are the same: to strengthen their communities and improve quality of life for Canadians.
