KGK Execs Visit Suppliers

LONDON,OntarioTwo executivesfrom KGK Synergize (www.kgksynergize.com) visited ingredient suppliers in Indiaand China in November 2004 to review quality control and production procedures. Najla Guthrie, president and chief executive officer, and Robert A. Guthrie,vice president of operations, first conducted a 10-day visit to China. The visitincluded a tour and inspection of the facilities of Chengdu SupermanPharmaceutical Co. Ltd., where the companies finalized an ingredient supplyagreement; a tour of Chengdu Wagott Natural Products Co. Ltd., a visit toFenchem Enterprises Ltd.; and a meeting with representatives of the FoodEngineering Research Center of State Education Ministry that resulted in apartnership agreement for KGK and Shenzhen Leading Biotech Co. Ltd. toreciprocally introduce the others products into their market.

Following the China tour, the Guthries spent five days inKolkata, India, which included announcing a new partnership with Herbicure Pvt.Ltd. KGK will be the exclusive North American representative of Herbicuresproduct line, while Herbicure will rep KGKs products in India. The tripincluded a site visit to Herbicures plant and research facilities at JadavpurUniversity, resulting in a signed Expression of Interest to possibly use theJadavpur resources to conduct clinical studies for clients.
