NEW YORKKyowa Hakko USA, manufacturer of amino acids and related compounds such as D-amino acids and branch chain amino acids, announced prices for its specific line of L-amino acids will be raised 5 percent, effective April 1. Recent increases in costs for energy and raw materials, along with the ongoing investment necessary to keep pace with the growing demand to produce top quality ingredients, require us to increase prices, said Chikakuni Kotani, president, Kyowa.
