MacaSource Contracts with S&G Korea

GARDEN GROVE, Calif.--MacaSource Inc. entered a contract with S&G Korea, an importer of products to the Republic of Korea. S&G gains exclusive distribution rights of the MacaSource brand of gelatinized maca in Korea, while MacaSource (www.macasource.com) has a three-year guaranteed contract with minimum purchase requirements of 180k per quarter.

According to David Smith, chief executive officer and chairman of MacaSource, while Korea has a fairly high market saturation of maca, there is not a great deal of gelatinized maca, a concentrated derivative.
