Main Street Passes AIB, NFPA Audits
LA CROSSE, Wis.Main StreetIngredients (www.msing.com) released its audit results from the AmericanInstitute of Baking (AIB) and the National Food Processors Association (NFPA).For the seventh consecutive year, Main Street earned a superior ratingfrom AIB with a score of 935 points out of 1,000 possible; AIB auditors reviewplant condition, food safety management, operating methods and cleaning methods.Main Street also met or exceeded the intent of NFPAs audit checklist, whichconcentrated on quality-related management responsibility, food safety, GMPs(good manufacturing practices), HACCP (hazard analysis critical control points)and overall manufacturing quality systems.
