Matthias Rath Hires Burgar as COO

FREMONT, Calif.--J. Westley Burgar is the new chief operating officer (COO) at Matthias Rath Inc., where he is now the head of the company's vitamin and supplement division. Burgar has been working in the natural products industry for more than 20 years with the majority of his experience in executive management positions at large wholesale distribution companies in the industry. Just prior to joining Matthias Rath, Burgar was president of Super-Nutrition Distributors. Burgar's additional industry experience includes serving on several regional National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) advisory boards and participating on the NNFA membership and trade show committees.
