FORSYTH, Mo.—National Enzyme Co. (NEC) broke ground recently on a new facility that will help fuel the local economy and bring new jobs to the area and the industry. The facility, due for completion in February 2009, will comprise more than 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

According to Terese Mansell, president, the expansion of the new and larger facility reflects the substantial growth that NEC has experienced in recent years. “We are thrilled to increase our capacity as we continue to bring enzyme based dietary supplements to the world,” she said. “We are also very happy to expand our operations here in Forsyth, so we remain a solid employer for the wonderful residents of the area.”
