Next Pharmaceuticals CEO Passes Away

CARLSBAD, Calif.—Next Pharmaceuticals ( www.nextpharmaceuticals.com) announced its president and chief executive officer (CEO), Bob Garrison, passed away March 1 at the age of 64. Garrison, a licensed pharmacist, co-founded Next Pharmaceuticals in 1997 with Charles Kosmont, and worked to develop high-grade botanicals for health conditions such as joint health, cholesterol, blood pressure, inflammation and stress; he was also the co-author of The Nutrition Desk Reference and The Pharmacist’s Guide to Over-the-Counter and Natural Remedies. Garrison is survived by his wife, Janice, four children and six grandchildren.

“Bob was a close friend, a wonderful business partner and a great man. He created a dynamic company and will be sorely missed by all of us at Next Pharmaceuticals,” Kosmont said. “He was one of those rare human beings who combined an entrepreneurial spirit with excellent business sense. He lived a life filled with insight, humor, kindness and integrity.”
