NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.TheNational Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) announced its 67th annual tradeshow and convention drew a total of 7,308 industry members to Las Vegas inmid-July, an 8 percent increase over the 2003 event. Our formula for successhas been delivering the qualified buyers that our exhibitors want and the rightmix of products that our core attendee, the natural products retailer, requires,said David Seckman, NNFAs executive director and chief executive officer.NNFA (www.nnfa.org) moved the show this year to the Sands Expo Center and TheVenetian Hotel; it will host the event again next year, July 15 to 17, 2005.
A number of awards were presented during the show. Boothawards went to: Heritage Family Specialty Foods, Best Theme; Longjiang RiverHealth Products, Best Multiple Booth; KGK Synergize, Best Single Booth;
Country Life, Best Island Booth; and Bodyonics, Best Displayof Products. The Peoples Choice Awards, determined by retailers in a blindtaste test, were:

NNFA also announced election results. David Taylor, owner ofNatures Harvest Market and Deli in Tampa, Fla., was elected aspresident-elect; he will succeed Paul Bennett in 2005 and serve a two-yearpresidential term.
Soodi Kick, owner of Nuts N Berries in Atlanta, and PatSardell, co-owner of Country Vitamins in Corvallis, Ore., will fill the two openRetail Council seats.
On the supply side, three incumbents, Randy Dennin (Capsugel),Jim Hopper (Tree of Life) and Richard Merriam (GCI Nutrients) were reelected tothe board. Mark A. Fox (IdeaSphere) and Paul Wolff (Atkins Nutritionals) werenewly elected to the supply council.
