LAS VEGASNutri Pharmaceuticals Research Inc. (NPRI) has started installing a new state-of-the-art, continuous-feed production line at its 32,000-sq.-ft. production facility here. According to the company, the continuous-feed system will augment two existing 500 kg and 1,200 kg batch machines and a small, pilot-run machine already in use, expanding daily production volume from 4,000 kg/shift to more than 4,000 kg/hour. Final installation and certification is expected by April 2008.

Godfrey Yew, chairman and CEO, said: “Continuing growth in our core nutraceutical business, along with anticipated volume in meeting the needs of our bakery, dairy, confectionary, meal replacement and other powder drink mix customers with our expanding line of fortified chocolate and other cocoa-based compounds, has created the need for this expansion.”
