ELMWOOD PARK, N.J.Nutraceuticals International® LLC entered into an extensive joint venture with Peruvian Nature, a good manufacturing procedures (GMP)-certified manufacturer based in Lima, Peru. Nutraceuticals Internationals extensive knowledge and experience will provide the competitive edge needed to bring these products to the international scene. Nutraceuticals International will focus its efforts on Peruvian Natures major products, while introducing a few exclusive ingredients that can be found no where else in the world."

Peruvian Nature operates its own facility to produce dehydrated medicinal herbs, fruits and vegetables. Additionally, they recently completed construction of a new, state-of-the art sterilization plant. Peruvian Nature is now able to use EPA-filtered air-injection systems and specially tailored air extraction and powder extraction techniques to grind, sterilize, pulverize and package all types of natural ingredients.

Peruvian Natures processes are environmentally friendly, utilizing an organic sterilization system (OSS). OSS was developed to treat almost any kind of medical plant, leaf, wood, bark, grain, cereal, seed, condiment, spice, root, tubercle and other whole, crushed and even powdered vegetables. OSS is a 100-percent natural technique to remove pathogens and reduce the germ charge in natural products. As Romeo noted, It is a proprietary, bacterial treatment process that helps maintain the efficacy and integrity of the natural product."

Peruvian Nature has earned certifications for BPM, HACCP and SQF 2000 as certified by SGS International. It has received plant authorization from General Direction of Environmental Health (DIGESA) and certification for organic processes and products by Control Union.
