Nutraceutix on the Move

REDMOND, Wash.--Nutraceutix made several news announcements, including the sale of its microbial feed additive business, the debut of an investor relations campaign and launches in two foreign marketplaces.

First, the company sold its production rights for Micro-Cell® direct-fed animal health products to Lallemand Animal Nutrition, North America, while retaining the intellectual property rights and products of its Cobactin® microbial feed additive product. Next, it retained Bibicoff & Associates Inc. to increase investment community awareness of Nutraceutix. Bibicoff & Associates will initially concentrate on developing and implementing communications strategies and programs targeting the retail brokerage and investment banking communities.

Finally, Nutraceutix's (www.nutraceutix.com) Controlled Delivery Technology™ (CDT) had two foreign launches. In early December, the company's strategic alliance partner for the Asian marketplace, Sinphar Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan, introduced CDT in Asia at the 2nd Taipei International Biotech Fair. In January, Nutraceutix entered a licensing agreement with Canadian-based Nutravite to package, market and distribute CDT-Glucosamine and CDT-Glucosamine-Chondroitin products in the Canadian marketplace.
