Nutratech Closes West Coast Office

FAIRFIELD, N.J.--Nutratech Inc. has consolidated all its operations into its corporate headquarters here, after it closed its West Coast office in Gardena, Calif. The last operating day in California was April 10. Employees at the Gardena office were let go, though Nutratech would not confirm the exact number of people laid off.

According to Stephen Drozdow, chief operating officer, the move should increase the company's efficiencies and customer service. "Keeping our inventory and product testing facilities in one location will improve our response time and make it easier to track inventory," he said. Nutratech's centralized distribution center in New Jersey is around 55,000 square feet. The company is online at www.nutratechinc.com.
