Olive Lifesciences Expands Coleus Ops

BANGALORE, IndiaOlive  Lifesciences increased contract farming of its Coleus forskohlii crop in Southern India.

The demand for coleus extract is growing exponentially both in supplement and cosmetic category," said Dr. Shiv, general manager for Olive Lifesciences.  Olive Lifesciences now has 15,000 acres with more than 5,000 farmers in four states across India.

In 2011, the company received the Shellac and Forrest Products Export Promotion Council export award from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India.
