Orafti Raises Beneo Prices

MALVERN, Pa.ORAFTI Active Food Ingredients announced the first price increase in three years on its range of Beneo ingredients. ORAFTI announced it had been able to offset increasing costs with efficiency improvements for the past three years; however, continued increases in raw material and energy costs forced the increase. Beneo prebiotic syrup prices will increase by 6 percent and powdered products by 8 percent. The increases will be implemented as of Oct. 1, 2007.
