Palatinit of America now BENEO-Palatinit Inc.

MORRISPLAINS, N.J.—Palatinit of America has officially become Beneo-Palatinit Inc. With this name change and a new identity, the company moves forward into a growing world of opportunities in the functional food industry and will be part of the new BENEO Functional Food Group.Beneo-Palatinit Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Beneo-Palatinit GmbH (formerly Palatinit GmbH), headquartered in Mannheim, Germany. As part of the BENEO Functional Food Group of Südzucker AG, Beneo-Palatinit GmbH and Beneo-Palatinit Inc. have joined forces with leading food ingredients producers Beneo-Orafti and Beneo-Remy under one prevailing mission: Connecting nutrition and health.  The decision of Südzucker AG to unite the strengths of Orafti, Palatinit and Remy came in response to the rapid changes spreading across the worldwide food and beverage markets. In the face of new emerging opportunities in the functional food market, increasing globalization, and the rapidly growing importance of adequate nutritional policies, the Beneo Functional Food Group was created to rise to these new challenges.
