NEW YORK--On Nov. 3, Gov. George Pataki signed intolaw a measure banning the sale of most ephedra products in New York. The bandoes not apply to over-the-counter drugs or to ephedra sold or dispensed bypractitioners of acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
