POLINAT Acquires National BioSciences, Taps PLT

CANARY ISLANDS , Spain—Polifenoles Naturales (POLINAT) acquired National BioScience Corp., Chester, N.Y., following the Nov. 30, 2005, death of Zakir Ramazanov, Ph.D., president of National BioScience. Ramazanov was the inventor of five science and technology patents, had presented more than 40 papers, published more than 140 articles and authored several books on natural products. POLINAT had long been responsible for commercialization and production of several of Ramazanov’s product innovations. In additional news, POLINAT appointed P.L. Thomas, Morristown, N.J., as the exclusive representative for all POLINAT and National Bioscience products in North America.
