Powder Technologies ~ Gericke Nibbler

HAINESPORT, N.J.Powder Technologies released its Gericke Nibbler, a solution to reduce lumps and agglomerates, in North America. Similar to a sifter or mill, the mechanism uses a combination of integrated paddles and screens to create uniform granule size. The Nibbler offers high torque and force with a paddle circumference speed of less than 1 m/s, allowing it to function without dust or fines.

The Nibbler reduces mixing time and energy usually associated with fine powders, in addition to more uniform heating, melting or dissolution. Users can easily clean the product by removing the screen; the Nibbler also has an automatic cleaning mechanism.
