Ramazanov Award Presentation Set for SupplySide West

LAS VEGAS—The first award honoring Dr. Zakir Ramazanov will be presented by the Ramazanov Award Foundation during SupplySide West, to be held at the Sands Expo Center here Oct. 22 to 24. The non-profit organization, established in 2007, will honor an individual working in the area of nutrition who has contributed to significant evidence-based improvement in people’s health and well-being. The presentation is set for Oct. 24 at 3:30 p.m. in VendorWorks Room #10056 in the exhibit hall.

Foundation President Leonid Ber, M.D., said: “We are excited to present our first award and hope it will set the tone for raising ethical and scientific bar within our industry. We encouraged by the support expressed by the industry members and the fact that the idea behind the Foundation resonated with many prominent industry individuals whose addition to the board will be announced at the ceremony in Las Vegas.”
