Revamped Sense Line Shines for Usana

SALT LAKE CITYUsana HealthSciences Inc. (NASDAQ:USNA) reported large revenues and earnings increases forits fourth quarter due to a strong performance of its re-formulated Sense lineof skin and personal care products, as well as to a significant increase inactive associate members worldwide.The Sense product line was revamped tointroduce a unique self-preserving technology. Net sales rose 26.3 percent to arecord $272.8 million, while earnings jumped 43.8 percent to $20.8 million or$0.98 per share, compared to the same quarter a year ago. According to companymanagement, North American and Canadian markets performed especially well, asdid international markets in Hong Kong and Taiwan. While it expects the salesgains to continue in 2005, the company cautioned China market performance willbe subject to anticipated direct sales law changes due in first quarter in thatcountry.
