PISCATAWAY, N.J.—Sabinsa Corp. announced its ingredient LactoSpore® was affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) by a independent scientific panel, assembled by Soni & Associates Inc. LactoSpore, a room-temperature stable probiotic (Bacillus coagulans), can be used in a range of foods and beverages including baked goods, milk products, soups, snacks, candy, non-alcoholic beverages, and instant tea and coffee.
