Senetek Expands Kinetin Product Sales Into China

NAPA, Calif.--Senetek PLC, which develops andco-markets products to the anti-aging markets, signed a license agreement withTaipei, Taiwan-based Panion & BF Inc., a manufacturer and marketer ofpharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals. Under the agreement, Panion will launch skincare products containing Kinetin (a natural plant growth factor, the patent forwhich is owned by Senetek) in Taiwan and Hong Kong; the launch is targeted inthe later half of 2003. "Taiwan is a key gateway to mainland China, whichrepresents one of the largest skin care markets worldwide," said FrankMassino, Senetek's chairman and chief executive officer.
