BOULDER, Colo.—Life USA Inc. (OTCBB:LFUI) reported continued top line growth, as first quarter krill oil sales grew 172 percent to $74,583, compared to $27,388 in fourth quarter 2005. Management added the growth trend has continued into second quarter, as sales have already reached $300,000 for April and May. As a result of the sales growth, first quarter net loss improved 56-percent to $168,515, compared to a year ago.

“Our growth is driven by the marketing momentum which krill oil has in the market place,” said Mickey Schuett, president of Life USA (www.lifeUSAinc.com). “Doctors, supplement stores and consumers are discovering the fabulous potential which this supplement has for maintaining cardiovascular, joint and mental health. For example, the market picked up on the recent clinical research which indicates that krill demonstrates better results than fish oil and traditional statin drugs for managing a patient’s cholesterol levels.”
