Starcaps Recall Expanded

WASHINGTON—In the wake of the NFL suspensions linked to ingestion of Starcaps dietary supplements, the products’ maker, Balanced Health Products, has expanded its voluntary recall to a broader range of lots of the product, which was found to contain the diuretic drug bumetanide. According to the company, its investigations suggest the contamination occurred at point of production of the raw ingredients in Lima, Peru.
