BRATTLEBORO, Vt.Natreon Inc. and NutraGenesis LLC 's ingredient Sensoril® provides resistance to heat stress and pain, according to a new study published in the Research Journal of Life Sciences.

The study, conducted by researchers at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in Hyderabad, India, demonstrated a dose of Sensoril® increased pain resistance by 12.85 percent three hours after consumption.

Subjects were randomized to receive either a single oral dose of 1000 mg standardized aqueous extract of Withania somnifera, or an identical placebo. Scientists measures mean pain threshold time at baseline and three hours after drug administration. The results used a clinical model to show how quickly consumers can experience Sensorils adaptogenic benefits.

Sensoril® offers high levels of adaptogenic glycowithanolide bioactives, and the standardization level for these bioactives in Sensoril® was recently increased from a minimum of 8 percent to a minimum of 10 percent glycowithanolides. The withaferin A standardization level was also modified from a maximum of 2 percent  to 0.5 percent.

NutraGenesis recently launched a new website, sensoril.com, to provide customers with information on the nutraceutical ingredient Sensoril®.
