Taste Tech Announces Micro-encapsulated Salt Product

BRISTOL, England--Taste Tech Ltd. announced Bags of Salt, itscontrolled release micro-encapsulated version of traditional salt intended toprevent unwanted moisture withdrawal in vegetable products. The salt is trappedwithin a microfilm of blended vegetable oils that acts as a barrier to ensurethe salt is kept away from the product until it is heated or eaten. Thecontrolled release mechanism is programmed to activate when certainpredetermined conditions are met. When the vegetables are heated past a certaintemperature, the microfilm melts and the salt is released.
