TIC Gums, Hercules Announce Partnership

BELCAMP, MD- TIC Gums and Hercules recently announced their partnership for the promotion of the Hercules brand line of Ester Gum that includes Ester Gum 8 BG and 8 BG HS. Ester gum is the premier weighting agent for beverages and beverage emulsions.

"Hercules sought us out because of our knowledge in the field of emulsions and our successful world-wide launch of TICAmulsionR modified gum acacia, a powerful emulsifier that is used in beverages and flavor applications. Many of our customers for TICAmulsion are also using Ester Gum as a weighting agent in the same applications, so it's a perfect addition to our product line," offered Greg Andon, TIC Gums' president. "New grades of Ester Gum are currently in development and Hercules will be relying on TIC Gums to promote this technology throughout the industry."

Effective July 1, 2008, Ester Gum users in the US started receiving sales and technical support from TIC Gums.
