Tishcon Receives USP Approval On Q-Gel Products

WESTBURY, N.Y.Tishcon Corp.announced four of its Q-Gel® softgel products (15 mg, 30mg, 60 mg and 100 mg) passed the verification process of the U.S. Pharmacopeias(USP) Verification Program for dietary supplements. The USP verification markwill appear on the front labels of the four products.

Tishcon is pleased to join the growing group of supplementmanufacturers with USP verified products, said Raj Chopra, chairman and chiefexecutive officer of Tishcon-GelTec, manufacturers of the QGel products. Weare in the process of increasing the number of our CoQ10 products beingconsidered for the verification mark and have already submitted an additionalthree products.

As part of the verification process, USP analyzes the productand audits the manufacturing facility for the quality and integrity of itsingredients. The USP mark assures customers that the dietary supplement containsthe ingredients declared on the product label in the declared amount, meetsrequired limits on contaminants and has been manufactured in accordance with USPand proposed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) GMPs (good manufacturingpractices).
