TSI Extraction Facility on Schedule
LAIYANG, China--Technical Sourcing International (TSI) announced that it ison schedule to open its new extraction facility here in the first quarter of2001. The facility will operate as TSI Nutritional Products (Yantai) Co. Ltd., adivision of TSI Manufacturing Systems, and will specialize in producingchondroitin sulfate (CSA). A similar facility is planned for late 2001 forglucosamine production at the same site.
According to Larry Kolb, president of Missoula, Mont.-based TSI, the factorywill allow the company to increase production capacity, product purity andmanufacturing efficiencies; it had been working with a Chinese partner inShandong, China on CSA production. For more details, visit www.webtsi.com.
