Udani Makes PharmaVOICE 100 List

LOS ANGELES.Jay Udani, MD, of Medicus Research, was recognized on the PharmaVOICE 100, an annual list of the top life-science professionals. The honor represents a growing acceptance of dietary supplement industry in the larger-scale healthcare arena.

Based in Los Angeles, Medicus research has conducted more than 125 clinical trialsperforming all stages, from design to analysis. With Udani as CEO, founder and medical director, the global contract research organization has pioneered innovative clinical research methods for the natural products industry.

In the feature, which lists Dr. Udani as one of the 100 most inspiring people in the Life-Sciences Industry," the publication said consumers are increasingly turning to dietary supplements for self care.

 Taren Grom, editor of PharmaVOICE, credited Dr. Udani with providing crucial efficacy evidence for natural products. In fact, Udani's clinical research won both first and second place at the 2013 Scripps Natural Supplement Conference.

Udani has also helped develop innovative tools for the natural products industry, such as Wellness Apps.
