Unigen Forms Strategic Advisory Board
BROOMFIELD, Colo.Unigen Pharmaceuticals formed a Strategic Advisory Board including prominent leaders in the natural health community. The board will convene at least twice per year to confer with Unigens key management and scientific team to review nuances of scientific research, human clinical trials, existing products and pipelines of future discoveries.
The board is chaired by Marcus Laux, N.D., a licensed naturopathic physician, who is an affiliate faculty member at Seattles Bastyr University, author of Naturally Well Today and co-author of Natural Woman, Natural Menopause. Other board members include Donald K. Layman, Ph.D., professor of nutrition in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition and College of Medicine at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; Leonard Makowka, M.D., Ph.D., a surgeon, transplant specialist and medical researcher focused in hepatic science; Glynnis Mileikowsky, senior vice president of business expansion for Phillips Health LLC; and Adam Morgan, who served most recently as vice president of new business development for Rexall Sundown.
