USANA Buys Personal Care Company

SALT LAKE CITYUSANA Health Sciences Inc. purchased all shares of a personal care product manufacturer; terms of the transaction and the companys name were not disclosed. USANA (www.usana.com) stated the acquired company, which reportedly has annual sales of just over $4 million, will allow USANA to bring its Sense product line completely in house. Efficiencies gained through this vertical integration should contribute to quarterly earnings of $.01 to $.02 per share.
