USP Taps Srinivasan for DSVP Program
ROCKVILLE, Md.--V. SriniSrinivasan, Ph.D., has been appointed acting vice president of the U.S. Pharmacopeia's(USP) Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP). Srinivasan replaces ForouzErtl, DVM, who established and led the program from its pilot phase through launch. Srinivasan joined USP (www.usp.org) in 1986 as a scientist and has established many USP and National Formulary monographs for vitamins, minerals, amino acids and botanicals.
