Virgo Publishing Announces Focus on the Future Humanitarian and Vanguard Awards

PHOENIX -- Virgo Publishing will recognize four outstanding organizations/individuals, two for philanthropic contributions and two for industry leadership, at Focus on the Future, Jan. 22 to 25 at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa, in Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ.

The two Humanitarian Awards will be given to those who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the community through charitable or public service work. The two Vanguard Awards will recognize leadership which has made an important impact on the dietary supplement or healthy food industry. The awards will be presented during the dinner on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at Focus on the Future 2008. The winners also will be featured in INSIDER and Food Product Design.

The event is moving to a new location in 2008, the luxury desert resort Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa, in Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ. Average temperatures in Scottsdale in February are in the 70s and winter is the peak tourist season, drawing people for golfing, hiking, shopping, spas and special events. Participants are encouraged to bring their spouses.
