Vitafoods Acquired by IIR Ltd.
GENEVA, Switzerland-- IIR Ltd. acquired VitafoodsInternational from Orgexpo-Palexpo Geneva. IIR's International Business Events (IBE)division will organize the upcoming Vitafoods event (www.vitafoods.co.uk),as well as other possible products in the venue. Nick Hawker, founder andmanaging director of Vitafoods International, will stay on the management teamafter the acquisition.
"IBE brings substantial technical and commercial expertise,investment and global capabilities to the Vitafoods business concept, whichpositions us for future growth," Hawker said. The sixth annual Vitafoods isset for May 13 to 15, 2003, at Palexpo, Geneva.
