Vitafoods Preps for 2009 Event

GENEVA, Switzerland—Vitafoods International is prepping for its 2009 event, set for May 5 to 7 at the PALEXPO here, announcing several new additions to the three day span. Show organizers have added several new international pavilions, including the Swiss Import Promotional Programme, AWEX, Bord Bia, France – Bretagne, Korea, and the Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association. Additionally, VitaTrend is a new joint initiative between Innova Market Insights and Vitafoods, which will include four presentations on trends driving product development. Back on board are the Supplier Seminar Theatre, the New Products Zone, the Vitafoods Discussion Forum and the Service Pavilions. Complementing the expo hall is the Vitafoods Conference, which features three days of educational workshops on topics including beauty foods, gut health, weight management and heart health.

The Finished Products Expo, co-located with Vitafoods, will include more than 100 companies providing products including dietary supplements, cosmeceuticals, functional foods and contract manufacturing services. New additions to the Finished Products Expo are a Polish Pavilion, advisory clinics hosted by regulatory consulting firm EAS, and an awards component to the Tasting Bar.
