CROWLEY, La.—The Wright Group announced its main manufacturing facility in Crowley, La., is fully operational despite the substantial damage caused in south central Louisiana by Hurricane Gustav. The eye of the hurricane passed between Crowley and Lafayette, La., on Sept. 1, causing the facility to lose power briefly. Back-up power was initiated and no damage to the facility occurred as a result of this storm. The company also has backup manufacturing facilities in place in the event of emergency.

“Our facility did not experience any manufacturing delays or shutdowns related to the storm,” said S.L. “Sam” Wright, president and CEO. “We want to reassure our customers that they can continue to expect superior quality and complete customer support. Our thoughts are with our friends and neighbors as they recover from Hurricane Gustav.”
