LONDONA new premium food delivery service in London, Housebites, is seeking to up the ante when it comes to the anticipated quality of delivered food. A variety of chefs are on the team (a total of 34 at time of writing), each with various specialties. Customers can enter their address to see if a given chef cooksand deliverswithin their area on any given night; not every chef cooks every night. The restaurant-quality food options change nightly, with different chefs cooking and setting their own menus and prices. Entrée prices range between £10 and £12.

Now Housebites has released a press release announcing a pretend you cooked option that delivers dirty pans along with your mealfor an additional £5. The idea surfaced on Facebook and Twitter, stemming from customer requests.

As Housebites provides home-cooked food, we had a number of customers contact us after ordering to say they had pretended to cook the meal themselves, said Simon Prockter, founder and CEO, Housebites. When a few of them requested we deliver the dirty pans alongside the meal, for authenticity, we thought it could be a useful service, especially for those less adept in the kitchen looking to impress.

Housebites will provide a £2.50 refund if the customers wash the pans before returning them.
