MANCHESTER, Mich.--Amcor PET Packaging (www.amcor.com) launched a family of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers, QuadPlus and QuadMax3, for hot-filled beverage applications. The products are more rigid alternatives to traditional PET bottles and are available in different size rectangular footprints for different manufacturing applications. According to the company, the "cubed" portion of the brand name reflects increased cube efficiency of 15 percent per bulk pallet (empty containers) and 8 percent per pallet (filled containers).
