Tamper-Resistant Food Packaging

SAYREVILLE, N. J.Sabert introduced SureStrip, a tamper-resistant feature, to its offering of culinary container products. SureStrip is designed to enhance the safety and security of packaged food, while reducing costs. The security seal is built into each leak-resistant, pop-tight lid. This feature eliminates the need for sealing equipment, shrink bands, heat tunnels, energy and labor costs.

The SureStrip feature has been added to Saberts line of Bowls² (square bowls). The tamper-resistant design is build right into the lid," said Chloe Miles, product manager at Sabert. Once you place your food into one of our SureStrip containers, you snap on the lid to secure it. When consumers want to open the package, all they have to do is pull off the strip thats built into the edge of the lid, just as you would a shrink band, and open it right up."

The SureStrip tamper-resistant square bowls are available in nine sizes ranging from 8-oz. to 24-oz. and come in two colors: black or clear.
