Uhlmann ~ Integrated Bottle Packaging Center 120

TOWACO, N.J.Uhlmann introduced the modular Integrated Bottle Packaging Center (IBC) 120, a pharmaceutically compliant packaging machine. The Uhlmann IBC-120, for solid dose products, processes round, rectangular and oval bottles of 45 to 200 mm in height and 25 to 125 mm in diameter. With no micro-stops or ramp-up time and the ability to complete changeovers, the IBC-120 can package small- to medium-sized batches at a rate of up to 150 bottleor 24,000 tablets or capsulesevery minute. The IPC-120 can be reset to process a different size bottle in six minutes. The machine is fully automatic with no need to format parts and tools.

The IBC-120 is close to 5 m in length and is controlled by a central touch screen user interface. Additional capabilities of the IPC-120 include the ability to process multiple cap sizes and 100-percent counting accuracy.
