SANDPOINT, IdahoUnicep Packaging Inc. (www.unicep.com)added a full line of Ross-Olsa mixers to its formulation department that canaccommodate batch sizes from 5 liters to 1,000 liters. The capacity of theMaxiLab small batch/R&D mixer is up to 5 liters; the Olsa 150 mixerscapacity is 50 to 200 liters; and the Olsa 1000 mixers capacity is 300 to1,000 liters. All three mixers have powder/liquid injection systems thatmaintain a closed environment; computer-controlled functions; proportional tipspeeds to ease scaling of mixes, and an automated recipe function to ensureconsistent mixing.

Unicep also offers turnkey services, including qualitative and analyticaltesting to meet stringent customer formula specifications, ingredient sourcing,temperature-controlled storage, unit-dose filling, pouching, tube filling andsecondary packaging services.
