GENEVAIngredia Nutritional introduces a series of proteins and hydrolysates that offer food designers new ways to incorporate milk-derivative proteins into sports, diet, infant and clinical nutrition products. With products composed of 85% or more protein on dry matter, the Nutritional Solutions range offers a high quality set of native proteins from fresh milk through a non-denaturing process.

The Nutritional Solutions range of protein enables a higher level of fluidity in high-protein beverages. The companys technology allows food manufacturers to incorporate higher levels of protein within a nutritional drink resulting in a lighter texture and pleasant mouthfeel. In addition, Ingredia Nutritional introduced protein hydrolysates with low bitterness, which lessens the product development time spent masking bitter tastes with increased quantities of hydrolysates. One possible market is infant nutrition, as hydrolysates are more easily digested than non-hydrolyzed proteins, are hypoallergenic and enable better absorption of amino acids.

The Nutritional Solutions have different attributes to suit their flexible applications. This range of ingredients, rich in nitrogenous matter (85% or more), provide one or more of the following:

  • 100% native milk proteins

  • 100% soluble proteins

  • Improved fluidity

  • Low bitterness

  • High microbiological profile

  • High dispersibility

  • Organic

  • Rich in caseins (92% of total protein)

  • Low fat

  • Low lactose or lactose free
